We are currently seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Home Care Scheduler.Position Overview:
The Home Care Scheduler plays a vital role in coordinating and managing the scheduling of care visits for our clients. This position is responsible for aligning client needs with caregiver availability and ensuring optimal service delivery. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in home care scheduling and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments to clients based on their individual needs and preferences while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking caregiver and client schedules, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and family members to address any scheduling conflicts or changes in care plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships with caregivers and clients.
  • Assist in onboarding new caregivers by coordinating their schedules and training as needed.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss scheduling strategies, challenges, and solutions.
  • Handle after-hour communication and on-call responsibilities, addressing urgent scheduling needs as they arise.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in scheduling processes and client care.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in home care scheduling or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of home care services and the unique needs of clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability to participate in after-hour communications as needed.
