Job description
The Hospitalist Department at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is currently seeking a dedicated full-time night physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive range of duties within their field of expertise, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive healthcare, and health maintenance.
This position entails night shifts from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM without block scheduling. Candidates must possess the ability to manage codes effectively. As the sole provider during the night shift, the Hospitalist will oversee Med Surg (20 bed) and open ICU (4 bed) inpatients, rapid responses, and Emergency Department admissions. While procedural skills are not mandatory, proficiency in ventilator management is required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including those in the Emergency Room, Respiratory Therapy, and nursing staff.

Requirements:
At least 1 year of Hospitalist experience is required.
Current Vermont Medical License.
Current Vermont DEA certificate.
Insurability (malpractice)
BC/BE
BLS & ACLS required
