  • Monitor and optimize Hot End and Melting equipment, focusing on maximizing uptime and minimizing waste while seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date operating standards, including accurate functional descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Hot End processes.
  • Lead training for new hires and team members, ensuring safe work and continuous skill development.
  • Oversee and implement qualification processes for Hot End Melters and Technicians.
  • Plan and manage the quality of manufacturing processes by acquiring necessary equipment, refining work instructions and SOPs, and establishing safety protocols for equipment use and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to evaluate daily performance, analyze technician reports, and provide regular updates based on data.
  • Coordinate with Group Sourcing Procurement (GSP) to ensure raw materials are tested and documented for seamless integration of new materials.
  • Participate in product testing and optimization to improve production efficiency.
  • Support ongoing development and optimization of processes, equipment, and tools for enhanced manufacturing outcomes.
  • Inspect and monitor WESP & DeSOx operations quarterly to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Ensure environmental controls and testing meet requirements are maintained and scheduled.
  • Manage external contractors, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety standards, and qual expectations.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering; relevant technical experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or an industrial environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC Control System is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to Environmental and Safety standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data for process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for training and support at other locations.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and maintaining data accuracy.
