We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Arts and Crafts lecturer to join the East Durham College Team on an hourly paid basis.Main Duties of the Role:To deliver Art and Crafts and related courses to adults studying on a part-time basis at college sites and out in community based centres across county Durham. You will deliver allocated teaching sessions to the highest professional standards and complete the associated organisational, co-ordination and administrative responsibilities that go along with the post including registers, student monitoring, assessment and examinations where required.Essential Requirements:You will have:

  • A minimum of a level three teaching qualification or be willing to work towards
  • A minimum of a level three qualification in the subject being taught or a related subject or discipline
  • Experience of teaching a wide range of learners but mainly adults
  • A proven track record of delivering good and better teaching
  • The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
  • Be suitable to work with children and vulnerable adults

£24.83 per hour
