CU Coventry has a site at Mile Lane and also an outreach centre within Birmingham.The RoleWe are currently looking to appoint an Hourly Paid Tutor in Nursing & allied Health Professionals to contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching within CU Coventry campuses. The successful candidate will join our highly regarded and established team of academics, delivering on our portfolio of undergraduate programmes in our modern facilities at CU Coventry campuses.As an hourly paid tutor you will be responsible for providing students with high quality and effective learning through the provision of teaching, curriculum development and tutorials, using an innovative approach of learning lead and focused on students. You will also support the development of the subject area by ensuring a class leading student experience is provided and is a sustainable offer to current and future students and aligned to both employer and student demands.Qualifications Required

  • Masters degree or PhD in appropriate subject.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake teaching qualification if not already qualified
  • Coventry University offers academic support and professional development support and provides the opportunity for staff without a recognised teaching qualification to undertake the PGCE.

Our Successful CandidateYou will have experience of teaching at a Higher Education level and with proven ability to deliver at this level. You will also be able to deliver across a broad programme area but hold advanced subject knowledge to facilitate advanced study in specific aspects of the subject.You will have a clear passion for the subject area you teach and a strong motivation to facilitate the learning of others.
