Job Title: Housekeeping AssistantLocation: Cranborne, DorsetJob Type: Full-time (permanent)Salary: £25,729.60 – £26,187.20 (depending on experience)Job Description: Our client are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our facilities. This position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.Key Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum cleaning floors
  • Spot cleaning of spillages
  • Wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass
  • Emptying and cleaning bins (daily)
  • Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds
  • Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces
  • Wiping, dusting, cobweb removal, polishing banister rails spindles and wood surrounds.
  • Replenishing janitorial supplies in toilets, etc (daily)
  • Checking and closing windows, switching off lights after work and ensure the building is secure on exit
  • Such other duties as may be allocated from time to time
  • All defects/hazards must be immediately reported

Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required.Requirements:

  • Experience of using equipment and materials in situations where care is needed to prevent harm to others
  • Key aspects of Health and Safety legislation for cleaning
  • Experience of cleaning a variety of surfaces.
  • The role will require some lone working; travel; physical work and the ability to drive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
