RSK Group are looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join the HR team supporting over 1,200 employees in our Environment and Planning Division. The role would suit someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a people-focused and fast-paced virtual office environment. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, ideal for someone looking to work a minimum of 30 hours a week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.The role-holder will be expected to work from one or more of our London, Hemel Hempstead, Birmingham or Bristol offices during the first 6 months of the role for induction and training. In the longer term, we are open to someone working permanently from home.   • Co-ordinating and managing all HR administration for the full employee life cycle
  • Managing and supporting with the administration of a number of HR processes including but not limited to employee onboarding, RTW checks, DBS checks, maternity and paternity, absence management and leavers processes, changes to Terms and Conditions of Employment, increase/bonus and promotion letters
  • Regularly updating the HR system, intranet and personnel files
  • Responding to HR system queries, escalating where appropriate
  • Ensuring the system is up to date in preparation for payroll cut off
  • Supporting more Senior members of the team or providing relevant information to the specialist functions

Person specification

  • Possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent (including Maths and English)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel
  • Confident communicator
  • Professional approach and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Good attention to details
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines, prioritising with a flexible approach

Salary and benefits:

  • £22,000 – £25,000 p.a. dependent on experience
