At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.Join us and make a difference!Role Summary:Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will work closely with the HR team to achieve the strategic goals of ROCKWOOL UK. This is a varied and fast paced role, where you will be providing full HR generalist support for assigned business areas. This includes giving guidance on HR policies and procedures, supporting managers and employees, and providing effective and efficient administration for the HR team.What you will be doing:

  • Being a point of contact for employees queries
  • Advising managers within your assigned business area on employee related queries that include performance, capability, absence management, conduct and restructures
  • Providing guidance and support for disciplinaries and grievances, including attending hearings and ensuring appropriate procedures are followed
  • Maintaining master data across all HR systems
  • Providing technical support to employees and managers on HR systems (Workday, Time & Attendance, electronic payslip portal)
  • Giving administration support to the HR team including maintenance of HR systems, employee leaver process and sickness absence
  • Supporting the Recruitment Specialist with the administration of recruitment for your assigned area or responsibility, including offers and contracts for new starters and the onboarding process
  • Adding new starter information to relevant HR systems and correctly updating relevant colleagues
  • Supporting payroll by providing relevant and necessary information and documentation e.g. new starter, leaver and changes
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with the HR team and the wider organisation in order to achieve the HR team goals

What you bring:

  • Proactiveness, with an eye for detail and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employee legislation
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Previous experience handling confidential information
  • Experience with MS office and HR systems
