POSITION SUMMARY

KOMIS is seeking a motivated HR Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support a variety of human resources functions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in a wide range of HR activities, including planning, recruitment, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations as well as legal compliance and adherence to health and safety regulations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • HR Planning: Assist in developing workforce plans and strategies for talent attraction, development, and retention;
  • Recruitment and Selection: Support the creation and posting of job descriptions, manage the first screening of applications and respond to candidates, assist with interviews, and support the onboarding process;
  • Performance Management: Support the monitoring and adjustment of existing performance management systems;
  • Training and Development: Support the evaluation of training needs, development of training programs, and the organisation and delivery of training sessions;
  • Compensation and Benefits: Support the administration of compensation and policy/agreements formulation, participate in salary benchmarking;
  • Employee Relations: Provide support in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, engage in conflict resolution, aid in fostering employee engagement and retention, and support the coordination of departmental meetings;
  • Legal Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing relevant human resource federal and regional requirements;
  • Health and Safety: Contribute to the update of the prevention plan and its implementation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a safe workplace environment;
  • Experts Roaster: Contribute to the maintenance and update of the database of experts and the accompanying documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
  • Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment;
  • Fluent in English and French.

ASSETS

  • Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on the tasks listed above;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and regulations;
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools;
  • Working knowledge of Dutch.
