The VacancyThe Technical Services division of the RSK Group have an exciting opportunity for a full-time HR business partner to join our growing team, ideally based in the Yorkshire area, UK.The Role:The HR Business Partner will take a lead role on project delivery as well as coaching and mentoring HR Business Partners ensuring consistently high standards of HR service delivery.It will be of critical importance to understand each of the business areas that you support and their own individual strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to provide the necessary business support and the appropriate supervision and coaching of team members.Although remotely based you will be required to attend meetings, training, and business unit visits. In the beginning, there will be a requirement to attend more frequently to ensure training requirements are met.Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with relevant business leaders and professionals ensuring they are supported, coached and fully facilitated
- Deliver comprehensive HR and business consultation in a commercial and strategically focused manner
- Deliver relevant strategic, pro-active and market aligned advice to managers (aligning to and supporting companywide business and HR Group goals)
- Identify and communicate any potential risks and take appropriate action / give appropriate advice
- Provide support for various HR actions including, but not limited to, hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, succession planning, salary planning and incentive schemes as required
- Ensure all correspondence, both verbal and written, is appropriately worded and professionally presented
- Provide monthly HR reporting and analysis as required
- Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback
- At all times present a professional and positive image of the HR department and the company as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships
- Oversee the central HR systems and personnel files to make sure they are being managed and updated correctly
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
- Identify any specific development needs within the team and discuss these with the Divisional HR Manager
- Support the Divisional HR Manager in the management of other HR requirements when needed, including responsibility for projects and ad hoc requests.
Qualifications/Experience:
- CIPD L7 part or fully qualified or hold a relevant HR qualification.
- Proficient and experience in confidently managing and overseeing a range of different ER cases
- Ability to advise within the scope of employment legislation and within areas of knowledge / capability.
- Understanding and recognising limitations in knowledge and seeking advice where appropriate.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to effectively establish rapport and build strong relationships with people at all levels.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to be concise and balance this with the required level of detail
- Professional approach and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Team player with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to take ownership of tasks and use initiative to solve problems, exercising appropriate level of judgement.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines, prioritising with a flexible approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
