The HR Centre (HRC) provides services such as guidance, advice and clarification on Human Resources (HR) related inquiries to employees, leaders and retirees. We are also responsible for processing all transactions related to employment cycle and pension. On average we process and respond to approximately 15,000 transactions and inquiries a year!What you will do
You will be one of the key points of contact within the HR Centre (HRC) Team, responsible for handling HR inquiries from both internal and external clients via phone and HR case management system. Your daily activities will also include managing/processing HR transactions and ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.More specifically you will use your knowledge of HR policies/processes, your client services skills as well as your technical system expertise to perform activities such as:

  • Interpret and understand all HR policies to provide support, clarification and alternative to clients, external parties and colleagues (related topics: benefit, compensation, leave, payroll, pension, time management, etc.).
  • Manage/respond to inquiries and document records in the case management system.
  • Liaise and maintain collaborative relationships with internal HR teams to resolve client issues on various topics and escalate complex inquiries as needed.
  • Process a high-volume of employee cycle, pension transactions based on payroll calendar cycles.
  • Process all transactions in the HRIS (SuccessFactors and SAP) to meet established performance metrics that ensure employees are paid on time and accurately.
  • Review discrepancy reports to ensure high quality data.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing and validation related to HR technology enhancements as required.

What you need to succeed
The HR Centre is a very dynamic environment therefore you will need to be adaptable, well organized and capable of working and reporting on multiple files with various deadlines meanwhile maintaining a high level of attention to detail.You require excellent verbal and written communication skills and HR policies and procedure knowledge. We are looking for someone who has pertinent experience in a client/customer service environment with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others.To be successful within this role you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills which will be key in helping you carry-out your daily responsibilities successfully.Assets

  • Experience working with SAP, SuccessFactors (Employee Central), Service Now and/or a similar Case Management system

Your education and experience
College diploma or university degree in a relevant field (Human Resources, Business administration, Communications, etc.) and a minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant work experience.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages – English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered.
