Job description
Reporting to the Director of HR Operations EMEA, the HR Operations Specialist will be the second point of contact for employees and managers for resolution of more complex HR issues related to areas of Compensation and Benefits, and Reward and Recognition.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure execution of end-to-end HR processes and all tasks associated from Workday and local Systems (e.g. SAP)
- Conduct day-to-day transactional processing in Workday and other related HR Systems
- Provide support in executing core, common and consistent processes, tasks and overall administration
- Work to appropriate HR Operations KPIs and SLAs
- Create, monitor, and close out tickets in the case management tool,as well as work closely with other HR staff members, and HR systems to provide service and support to all other HR functional areas
- Identify escalation trends and opportunities for process changes and/or new solutions
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of all company benefit programmes
- Serve as a Tier 2 contact for employees and managers regarding benefit related issues, questions and decisions regarding eligibility or other related topics
- Ensure timely, professional, consistent and legally compliant responses are provided and documented as appropriate for every situation
- Document and communicate policies and procedures related to benefit administration that are consistent with global programmes, local policies and respective values
- Assist in the performance of regular audits in conjunction with carriers to ensure accurate employee enrolment
- Manage the 3rd party administrator to ensure every aspect of the benefits processes are handled
- Coordinate and administer long term disability and leave management, and interface with Payroll
- Assist with the processing of life insurance claims
- Support salary survey submissions and utilise results for the development of start rates, site wage proposals, and salary structures
- Administer the job description review process
- Support the global administration and communication of annual compensation programmes including salary planning, as well as local and global short-term and long-term incentive plans
- Provide compensation support and data management support for special projects

- Must be fluent in German
- Degree within Business/ HR or related field
- Previous experience in HR, preferred HR Operations and/or a Shared Services operations
- Experience of working within a global HR shared services model
- Some experience in Compensation and Benefits is preferred
- Knowledge of Case Management and Knowledge Management systems
- Excellent administration skills
