Our Human Resources and Organisational Development (HR/OD) Function will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our People Strategy which will enable the delivery of the Aston 2030 Strategy.Join Aston University as an HR Service Improvement Lead and play a pivotal role in enhancing our HR and Organisational Development (HR/OD) function. This role is integral to our Aston 2030 Strategy, focusing on making Aston the Best Place to Work and attracting top talent. You will lead end-to-end employee life cycle mapping, process improvements, and service delivery enhancements within the HR/OD function.Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an internal consultant on process and service enhancements within HR/OD.
  • Conduct data discovery, analysis, and process mapping to identify root causes and develop solutions.
  • Continuously review and improve HR/OD processes to future-proof our services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to support operational and service objectives.
  • Provide leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement in HR/OD.
  • Develop and oversee project plans for service improvements.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert, working with training and digital delivery teams.
  • Benchmark with other HR/OD functions in the sector to implement best practices.
