HRD Talent Sourcing Advisory Long-Term Consultant

About this position
We are looking for an experienced professional to provide talent-sourcing advisory services to drive the talent sourcing function for the IDB Group in line with the Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging Framework 2023-2028, and with a focus on the attraction of Afro-Descendant talent, Indigenous Peoples, LGBTQ+ persons, People with Disabilities, as well as women in senior leadership roles.
You will lead the increase in attraction and recruitment of diverse talent, including through the mapping of the region and priority interventions, the sourcing of senior roles, as well as building the capacity of the talent attraction and sourcing team.
Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Head, you will work in the Talent Management Division, part of the Human Resources Department (HRD), and in close collaboration with the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisor. The Human Resources Department is responsible for the administration and development of the human capital of the IDB Group. The main functions of the department include managing the entire employee lifecycle, overseeing the implementation of the People Strategy, and implementing programs and methodologies in direct support of the IDB’s mission. HRD is also dedicated to deliver human centered experiences and strategically partnering with professionals who are passionate about improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean. What you’ll do:
- Design the talent sourcing strategy for the next 2-3 years to attract Afro-Descendant talent, Indigenous Peoples, LGBTQ+ persons, People with Disabilities, as well as women in senior leadership roles to reach the institution’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals.
- Work with Country Offices and talent sourcing team to map the talent pools and priorities in the Region.
- Define quick action/strategies in the short term based on the ongoing recruitment processes.
- Build the capacity of talent attraction, sourcing and broader HRD teams to source diverse talent.
- Develop appropriate KPIs for the recruitment funnel and use data to drive continuous improvement.
- Source diverse talent for a variety of key positions.
What you’ll need
- Education: Master’s or bachelor’s advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Experience: Master’s + 7 years or Bachelor’s + 10 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in talent acquisition. Of these, 2-5 years of experience in talent sourcing in a multinational environment, preferably including the Latin America and the Caribbean
- Proven results in sourcing diverse talent.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to quickly establish and maintain trust and credibility with all stakeholders, as well as navigate complex scenarios.
- A track record of being a collaborative team player who can work across the organization to support the goals of the business.
- Languages: Oral and written Proficiency in English. is required; proficiency in Spanish is desirable.

Requirements:
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
Type of contract and duration:
- Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.
- Length of contract: 24 months initially, renewable for an additional 12 months upon mutual agreement.
- Work Location: On site. Washington D.C
