We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Cambridge, Ontario. This role is primarily involved in the customer service, human resources, and administrative sectors. As a HR Assistant, you’ll be tasked with providing excellent customer service and assisting with various pre-employment activities, along with handling confidential information and performing other administrative duties.Responsibilities:
- Offer top-notch customer service by addressing inquiries and requests, both in person and over the phone.
- Support job-seekers with their job search process, including usage of computers and job bank.
- Assist clients with various pre-employment tasks such as resume creation, cover letter drafting, conducting mock interviews, and conducting employer research.
- Ensure accurate data entry for updating and maintaining customer records in our systems.
- Respect the confidentiality of personal information, handling it with discretion.
- Carry out additional administrative duties including photocopying and filing, as needed
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or relevant field is required
- Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in data entry tasks is a must
- Experience in filing and record keeping is necessary
- Ability to operate photocopying equipment effectively
- Familiarity with receptionist duties and front-office operations is a prerequisite
