As an Human Resources Manager at SOULCHI, you will play a critical role in building, nurturing, and scaling our HR infrastructure, while fostering a positive, high-performance culture. You will manage all facets of HR, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, HRIS implementation, and more. In a fast-paced, high-demand environment, your ability to adapt, innovate, and build strong relationships with team members at all levels will be key to your success.Responsibilities:Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionDrive aggressive, full-cycle recruitment strategies to identify, engage, and onboard top-tier talent quickly, ensuring alignment with our culture and long-term business goals.Develop and maintain an evergreen pipeline of highly-qualified candidates by proactively sourcing, networking, and nurturing relationships with talent across various platforms and channels.Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to deeply understand hiring needs, creating comprehensive, tailored job descriptions that attract the right talent.Leverage innovative sourcing methods, including data-driven approaches and creative outreach, to recruit in a competitive start-up environment.Onboarding & Employee EngagementCreate a seamless, data-driven onboarding experience, ensuring that new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and supported from day one, while tracking key metrics to continuously refine the process.Foster strong relationships with new employees during onboarding and beyond, serving as a trusted HR partner and helping them feel deeply connected to the company’s mission and vision.Conduct regular Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) surveys and analyze results to implement actionable strategies that improve employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.Promote a culture of inclusivity and belonging by incorporating feedback from employees into organizational changes and HR initiatives.Performance ManagementChampion a performance-driven culture by implementing best practices for goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development, ensuring employees understand their growth trajectory.Lead performance management conversations with empathy and insight, coaching managers to provide constructive feedback and actionable steps for employee improvement and career growth.Identify and address performance gaps with tailored, strategic solutions that empower employees to reach their highest potential and drive organizational success.HRIS & Process ImprovementLead the implementation and optimization of HRIS platforms, streamlining HR workflows, improving data accuracy, and ensuring that systems scale with the company’s growth.Build and refine HR processes using tools like Asana, ensuring efficient task management, transparent communication, and clear process flows across HR functions.Constantly evaluate HR operations for opportunities to automate, innovate, and improve, ensuring HR processes are aligned with business objectives and the evolving needs of the start-up.Employee Relations & TerminationsCultivate positive relationships with employees at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring that concerns or issues are addressed swiftly and fairly.Navigate complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism, providing guidance to leadership and employees while ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.Conduct thorough, respectful terminations with empathy and professionalism, managing the process with discretion, maintaining legal compliance, and supporting departing employees in their transition.Timesheet ManagementEnsure accuracy and compliance in timesheet management, monitoring employee hours while adhering to legal standards and company policies.Communicate transparently with employees regarding time tracking, ensuring clarity and alignment with expectations.HR Strategy & Data AnalyticsCollaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with overall company objectives, providing insights and recommendations based on data-driven analyses.Utilize HR analytics to evaluate and optimize HR processes, proactively identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve employee engagement, performance, and retention.Shape the HR strategy to meet the unique needs of a rapidly evolving start-up, ensuring that HR initiatives align with company goals and are scalable as the organization grows.Relationship Building with EmployeesDevelop deep, trusting relationships with employees across all levels, serving as an approachable and reliable HR partner who listens, supports, and advocates for their needs.Proactively engage with employees to build rapport, gather feedback, and address concerns, ensuring a positive and cohesive work environment that fosters collaboration and growth.Provide ongoing career coaching and mentorship to employees, supporting their development, addressing aspirations, and guiding them toward long-term success within the company.Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:As part of the SOULCHI team, you’ll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member’s current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing.
