It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Human Rights Manager to support the implementation of Haleon’s human rights strategy. This role will support the development of and help embed human rights due diligence across key functions including procurement and HR. This role will liaise with key internal and external stakeholders including legal, wider supply chain functions and NGO’s, to support the integration of human rights principles into Haleon’s operations and wider value chain. The role will also be responsible for gathering and analysing data, training and reporting tasks.This role, located within the Social Impact and Sustainability function, supports the Human Rights Lead and reports to the Social Impact Director.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of Haleon’s human rights strategy and due diligence efforts.
- Assist in the development of human rights-related policies, standard operating procedures, and guidance.
- Support the design and delivery of training programmes on human rights principles and best practices across Haleon.
- Collect, analyse, and report on human rights data and performance metrics.
- Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports on human rights performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders across various functions (e.g., HR, legal, supply chain) to promote the integration of human rights considerations into business processes.
- Stay updated on human rights trends, risks, and emerging issues, providing relevant insights to the Human Rights Lead and the organisation.
Qualifications & Skills:Essential
- University degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Science or Technical)
- C3 yrs. Experience with human rights topics such as modern slavery, living wage, labour and working conditions, gender, diversity & inclusion, and supply chain/ responsible sourcing
- Working knowledge of human rights due diligence standards, norms, and initiatives (such as UDHR, UN Global Compact, UNGPs, and OECD MNEs).
- Experience in human rights reporting (e.g., modern slavery statements) or ESG/sustainability reporting
