Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is The Opportunity?
As an IAM Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, build, test and documenting Access Management (IAM) services within RBC. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and Innovation and can work in a dynamic environment with many teams and stakeholders. They can apply complete software development knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments. The candidate should have strong foundation of design and development fundamentals.What Will You Do?:Facilitate end-to-end deliveries of our IAM platform, including design, engineering, deployment, and support.Collaborate with our IAM Operations, Support, Business and Architecture teams to deliver complete IAM solutions.Understand business requirements and convert them into an effective design and engineering solution to meet these requirements.Leverage our vendor and internal support to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.Develop integrations between IAM systems and other information systems.Create, update, and maintain administrative documents to be used by our collaborative partners.Serve as level-three support for IAM production incidents.What You Need to Succeed?Must have:Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) related work.Experience using data serialization languages such as XML, YAML, JSON etc.Software development experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java etc.Working experience with databases such as Oracle, MS SQL etc.Experience using Linux systems, comfortable using command line.Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology.Nice-to-have:Experience working with REST APIsDevelopment experience working with Sailpoint IdentityIQExperience writing DevOpsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
