Our patients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are being executed. This department is perfect for someone who can identify patient distress and react accordingly, enjoys phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, assisting with recovery and client follow up and education.What you’ll do:Escalates issues to Clinical ManagerFunctions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needsPrioritizes and organizes workflows for shiftDirectly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team membersAssigns team member responsibilities per shiftAddresses process or employee issues during their shiftCommunicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinelyServes as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalationsTrains and mentors new team membersProvides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluationsParticipates in on-call responsibilitiesParticipates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinelyWho you are:Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desiredProficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessaryAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPerks and Benefits include:Comprehensive Health BenefitsVision and DentalHSA, FSA and Independent Care Spending401k with Employer MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Shift Differentials and On-call PayUniform AllowanceEmployee Pet Discounts and Pet InsuranceElective Short-Term Disability, Life and Accident Insurance and company paid Long Term DisabilityContinuing Education Opportunities and Assistance ProgramStrong career growth and personal development opportunitiesCome as you are.
