Using their entrepreneurial spirit the team is constantly thinking of new ways to provide industry-leading immigration support.About the role:
As an Immigration Paralegal you will assist in the day-to-day handling of immigration applications and work with senior team members to complete ad hoc project work. The role specifically covers Poland immigration processes for one of the firm’s most prestigious clients. You may also be required to work on projects across various jurisdictions.Key responsibilities will include:
- Management of day-to-day casework – from initiation to completion and renewal of permits.
- Acting as main point of contact for your cases, providing timely updates, reviewing applications/documents required for the immigration process and ensuring systems are updated in real time
- Liaising closely with Fragomen’s Polish co-counsel
- Working with Shared Services to complete admin related tasks as identified
- Preparing written advice for clients and other stakeholders
- Host consultation calls with applicants and other stakeholders
- Exercising good judgement in identifying and escalating matters to line manager’s attention
- Taking ownership of and participating in ad-hoc project work
- Ensuring data is up-to-date and correct on system
- Attending office minimum 2 days per week in line with team office days
- Providing general administrative support as required, including:
- Managing the case billing cycle
- Ensuring timely completion of case management updates
- Document review and management
- Ad hoc admin reporting and admin tasks as and when required
About you:Ideally you will have previous experience in a client-facing, professional role. Previous immigration experience is not essential as full training will be provided.Also required:
- Display professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors
- Consistently manage a high case load as per business need
- Demonstrate attention to detail and achieve high level of productivity
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate progress to supervisors
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative
- Contribute to positive work environment
- Develop strong working relationships with team members
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has good organisation skills with ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple small-scale projects
