We are looking for an Implementation & Business Change Support Manager to work with NHS England programme teams and with a range of organisations across Health and Social Care to both implement and drive-up the effective use of NHS England digital products and services.The post holder is responsible for supporting the implementation of sometimes highly complex business change related projects while ensuring that they align with the programme and corporate strategies as well as NHS England’s organisational standards and values.The Implementation & Business Change Support Manager will actively and independently participate in all phases of the work, providing implementation guidance, production of implementation materials, business process mapping and supporting organisations to understand the business change involved and the business benefits that can be realised to support the case for change.The post holder will develop subject matter expertise for their responsible area and deliver knowledge transfer/training to organisations.The post holder will be adept in communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage and manage a broad range of stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external to NHS England and the NHS.Main duties of the job

  • Have operational experience of NHS elective care pathways and management of outpatient services within an NHS acute provider setting
  • Have knowledge of national policies and governance relating to referral-to-treatment (RTT) , cancer and diagnostic referral pathways
  • Have demonstrable experience supporting NHS acute PAS migrations, ensuring minimal impact on patient referrals and outpatient appointments
  • Demonstrate experience and understanding of the operational challenges relating to elective waiting lists
  • Ability to challenge poor practice and make recommendations to front-line NHS and private healthcare providers in relation to the national NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS)
  • Knowledge of change management tools and techniques and able to demonstrate ability to influence change and effecting change through others
  • Ability to facilitate large-scale engagement events online or via face-to-face user groups or workshops
