RBC Group Advantage (GA) is looking to hire a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP) Implementation Specialist. As a DCPP Implementation Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert and consultant to support the end-to end Sponsor (employer) onboarding to a RBC administered Defined Contribution Pension Plan.What will you do?Strategic Planning and Plan Set Up – Subject matter expert for DCPP product and the implementation process:Sponsor Onboarding: You act as the primary owner and lead for the end to end Sponsor onboarding process.Plan Documentation: Act as an Advisor to both the Group Advantage sales team and the plan Sponsor in designing plan structure.System Set-Up: You ensure the accurate set-up of the plan on the CRM platform and on Sponsor’s portal (record keeping, reporting, Sponsor access to manage member participation and remit payroll contributions).Stakeholder Management – You coordinate all partners involved in the plan implementation and transfer process:Key OFI (Other Financial Institutions) Contact: Act as primary RBC liaison with OFI to negotiate and coordinate the end to end plan transfer process.Internal Partner Coordination: Inform partners of upcoming launches (GFAs, GAA, Service center), work with partners to ensure capacity and support is available for upcoming launches (GFA’s, Service Centre, BUCK, MyAdvisor, Workplace team)Project Management and Support – You coordinate and track all aspects of the successful end to end implementation process:Demographic File Preparation: Ensure the data is complete and accurate and consolidated into the BUCK templateTransfer Preparation and Execution – Negotiate transfer terms with OFI, execute necessary transfer communicationsMember Onboarding Support – Provide local Member Support teams with any documentation or support they need, support the sponsor, create required Member communications (support email, Member Booklet)Registration – Create & collect registration docs to file with regulators, work with Sponsor to sign documents, create registration package and assist Sponsor in understanding their filing requirements (mail, online portal, costs)Member Communications – create member (employee) communications to be distributed at various times during the onboarding process and files with regulatorsLegal Documentation – create and draft legal plan documents required for regulatory purposesWhat do you need to succeed:Must-haveExperience in Group Retirement and Savings IndustryStrong knowledge of Group Savings plans and operational/process knowledge of plan set up processes and how interbank/OFI/Life Co. transfers workProject management mind-set with ability to facilitate and manage multiple tasks in a high paced environmentHigh level of proficiency in written and oral communication skills as well as attention to detailOrganized and strong interpersonal skillsNice-to-havePost-secondary educationRPA designationExperience dealing with Pension Plan regulatory bodiesWhat’s in it for you?A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefitsOpportunity to collaborate with other business segments within the bankCompetitive compensationOpportunity to build close relationships, do challenging work, and work towards personal and professional growthFlexible work/life balanceWorking with a dynamic, high performing and engaging team committed to achieving superior resultJob SkillsBuilding Talent, Critical Thinking, Inspiring, Long Term Planning*Please note this role is remote *Job Skills Building Talent, Critical Thinking, Inspiring, Long Term PlanningAdditional Job DetailsAddress: ROYAL BANK PLAZA, 200 BAY ST:TORONTOCity: TORONTOCountry: CanadaWork hours/week: 37.5Employment Type: Full timePlatform: Personal and Commercial BankingJob Type: RegularPay Type: SalariedPosted Date: 2024-04-03Application Deadline: 2024-04-17Inclusion and Equal Opportunity EmploymentAt RBC, we embrace diversity and inclusion for innovation and growth.
