The ultimate result of service for the part-time contractor is to strengthen partner engagement, support resource mobilization efforts, and expand well-researched and readily available EOSG-wide donor intelligence. It will also promote knowledge management products and a wider use of the CRM. The part-time individual contractor is expected to complete by the end of the assignment the following deliverables: 1. Knowledge Management: a. Curated CRM/Dynamics databases and contact lists. b. Improved data quality through analysis and cleanup tasks. c. Efficient project and knowledge management practices. 2. Research: a. Developed detailed grant-making processes intelligence. b. Provided background due diligence desktop research on potential multistakeholder engagements. 3. Communication Assistance: a. Organized meetings for internal and external communication purposes. b. Drafted pitches and other communication materials.Work LocationNew York (In-Person) (part-time)Expected duration8 Months (up to 31 December 2024, part-time)Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe contractor will be responsible to provide support in the following key areas: 1. Knowledge Management: Promote the use of CRM / Dynamics in maintaining databases and contact lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Assist in data entry and data analysis tasks as needed, ensuring solid knowledge management practices are in place. 2. Research: Conduct research on potential donors, identifying their priorities, funding streams, grant-making processes, as well as areas of risk and required due diligence. 3. Communication Assistance: Support internal and external communication efforts by organizing meetings, drafting pitches and other communications materials. Monitor and respond to inquiries received via email. 4. Perform any other duties as required.Qualifications/special skillsBachelor’s degree or higher in international relations, political science, communications, or a related area. At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles, preferably in an international organization, non-profit, or similar setting. Demonstrated experience in supporting external relations initiatives and in coordinating events or meetings, including logistical arrangements, agenda preparation, and follow-up actions. Proven track record in conducting research, particularly multistakeholder analysis, to support organizational objectives. Familiarity with data management processes, including database maintenance, data entry, and data cleanup, is an advantage. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a strong advantage.LanguagesFluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
