  • Be intuitive and responsive to the needs of pupils with SEND.
  • Have an interest in working with children with SEND, particularly those with ASD.
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide consistent, calm and nurturing support whilst maintaining clear behavioural boundaries.
  • Be able to use initiative and make professional judgements related to pupil learning to ensure pupil dysregulation, stress and anxiety are managed effectively.
  • Have bundles of enthusiasm and creativity, with a desire to nurture a love of learning in all our children.
  • Be highly organised and forward thinking.
  • Be passionate about making learning fun, relevant, enjoyable and challenging.
