We advocate for change, and connect countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life.Context:The UNDP Sustainable Finance Hub is seeking an Online Volunteer to assist the INFF team with data collection, analysis, and policy analysis to support the preparation of a report for the Financing for Development (FfD) 4 Conference. The successful candidate will contribute to the annual INFF survey, covering 80 countries, and play a vital role in helping to analyze data and provide policy insights that will inform the broader discussion on financing for sustainable development.Task type:ResearchTask description:Assist in establishing an INFF database by collecting, verifying, and organising data from various sources, including countries’ development finance assessment reports, financing strategy documents, financial statements, public and private finance management policies, public release, as well as the INFF annual survey and UNDP project documents. This task will focus on 10 countries, contributing to a database that aims to cover 80 countries.Requirements:Academic Background: Graduate degree in economics, finance, international development, or a related field.Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in research, data analysis, or policy analysis related to sustainable finance or development.Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, or similar software) and basic knowledge of financing for sustainable development or international finance frameworks.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex issues clearly.Languages: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Work Hours: 16-20
