Our primary function is to engineer and implement technology solutions that will help application teams avoid production outages and produce quality software. From Shared Services team we handle all administrative activities for a variety of middleware technologies. We also provide development support for hundreds of applications.We are also assisting several applications with their cloud transition. Our services include below.EngineeringOnboardingReusable ToolsEnvironment AutomationLicense ManagementSME support along with advanced troubleshootingDesign and Capacity Analysis.Initiatives that improve productivity and result in efficienciesInteract with SA, dba, developers and product and send requests to ArchitectureRole Description:WebSphere/Tomcat Application Server L3 support .Design and Develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring, application support activities.Technical support to applications on trouble shooting Environment, software and application level issues forWebSphere/Tomcat and IBM/AHS HTTP ServerWrite, test programs using Unix Shell/python/ansible scripting,Partner with cross functional teams across Development, Validation/QC, Production.Triaging/driving MIM calls and L3 production support for WebSphere infra structure .Building WebSphere application server environments, patching, VA fixes , driving production changes .Providing design inputs ,capacity analysis and architectural solution for Tomcat/WebSphere Application environment setups.Support Global teams across all of ICG supporting cutting edge solutions.Expertise in ITRS monitoring including dashboard setup and command setup with authorization setup through servicenow groupsExpertise in automation with autosys ,udeploy, python .Exposure to tomcat/containerization would be an value add.Managing support services and change management using Servicenow applicationQualifications:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent educational qualification
Technical / Functional Proficiency:8+ years of WebSphere application server administration exposure for WAS version 6,7,8.5 and WAS9.x6+ years of Tomcat AdministrationExposure to Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins and Udeploy is value add .Skills Required:Experience in Administrating Applications hosted on Tomcat.Experience in to work in Unix/Linux environmentExperience in python scripting for WebSphere application server .Experience in analyzing WebSphere log files and generating automated performance reportsExperience troubleshooting WAS and IBM HTTP server related issuesStrong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently.Team management and leadership experience .Must have experience in participating in the management of multiple concurrent initiatives while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Puts clients first by anticipating, understanding, and exceeding their expectations and needsActs as a trusted partner to clients by delivering superior advise, products and servicesDrives innovation, competitive differentiation and speed to market by actively learning from othersExemplifies global leadership by embracing unique perspectives from across the organizationChallenges self and colleagues to higher levels of performance by actively listening and engaging in constructive dialogueTreats people with respect and assumes the intentions of others are based on common goals and shared purposeExhibits confidence and agility in challenging timesSets the standard for the highest integrity in every decisionHas the courage to always do what’s right and the humility to learn from mistakesSets goals and measures progress to ensure the organization is focused on ethics, execution, and resultsExpects self to consistently meet/exceed expectationsCiti Canada is an equal opportunity employer.
