Who we are looking for

State Street seeks to recruit an Insider Threat Program Head responsible for a variety of functions within the insider threat program at State Street. This team will work with the core Global Cyber Security teams, Global Security, Enterprise Continuity Services, and infrastructure teams to analyze, remediate, and develop new controls related to insider threats. This position requires creativity, quick reaction, interview experience, and technical expertise to protect the bank’s assets. What you will be responsible for

  • Implement key deliverables aligned with the Insider Threat Framework and program roadmap
  • Develop and ensure currency of relevant Global Insider Risk program policies, procedures, and interaction models
  • Develop strategic approach to mature the Insider Threat Program efforts
  • Oversee and report on Insider Analysis, Insider Investigations and technology programs and production activities
  • Establish relevant procedures, guidelines, and processes to risks related to insider events
  • Develop and deploy insider risk training across the enterprise
  • Maintain and report upon Key Risk Indicators, relevant controls, and program Key Performance Indicators
  • Provide advice, expertise, counsel, and support from and insider risk perspective to senior leaders as input to business decisions and medium to long term planning
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership on insider risk events, emerging trends, and relevant topics
  • Ensures governance and oversight of Insider Risk program to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness and compliance to applicable State Street policies, standards, procedures, etc.

  • Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong understanding of Insider Threat principles
  • Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements and lines of defense reporting mandates

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors in cybersecurity, business administration, information technology or similar fields related to risk management and cyber knowledge
  • Preferred masters degree in business administration, cybersecurity, information technology or similar degrees
  • 10+ years of leading and coordinating groups with multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • 5+ years of experience with insider threat analysis and monitoring demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 5+ years of experience with cyber threat detection platforms
  • Strong background in IT and or Cybersecurity
  • Strong background in intelligence and/or investigations preferred but not required

Salary Range: $140,000 – $222,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
