Introduction
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Rwanda, through its Governance and Digital Transformation Programme, is supporting the operationalization of the timbuktoo Health Tech Hub in Kigali, Rwanda. The Hub aims to foster innovation, research, and technology-driven solutions in the health sector by providing innovators, researchers, startups, and technology developers with access to advanced laboratory and prototyping equipment.
As part of this initiative, the Hub has acquired specialized laboratory equipment, including an Opentrons Flex Liquid Handling Robot, a Formlabs Form 3 SLA 3D Printer, an Ultimaker S5 FDM 3D Printer, and associated accessories and software. To ensure the equipment is installed, commissioned, and operated in accordance with manufacturers’ requirements and industry standards, UNDP Rwanda invites qualified firms to submit quotations for the provision of installation, calibration, testing, user training, and post-installation maintenance support services.
The selected contractor will be expected to provide a comprehensive solution covering site assessment, equipment installation and commissioning, software configuration, hands-on training for designated users, and technical support services to ensure the equipment is fully operational and the Hub staff are equipped with the necessary skills to operate and maintain the systems effectively.
This procurement is conducted through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and the contract will be awarded to the Lowest Priced Technically Compliant Offer (LPTC) meeting all requirements specified in this solicitation.
Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide.
