Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) is a Canadian-based asset management firm with global scope and industry-leading investment management capabilities. The PH&N Institutional division within RBC GAM focuses exclusively on serving Canadian Institutional clients and is widely considered a thought leader in this field, based on our long-term track record of delivering exceptional investment solutions and service. This is a specialized administrative role. You will have a strong sense of client service, integrity, and administrative excellence. A key member of the PH&N Institutional team, the Reporting Specialist works closely with Associates and Portfolio Managers to serve our clients.What will you do?

  • Assist in creating content, organizing production, reviewing and distributing client reporting (monthly, quarterly, and upon request)
  • Regularly translate investment-related content from English to French
  • Support day-to-day and ad hoc client requests by utilizing investment software, preparing presentations, client reports, and other forms of client communication
  • Work with our CRM to capture key business development activities, mandate changes, and critical client information
  • Research, create, and maintain presentation materials (charts and slides, data analysis, etc.)
  • Collaborate with various teams across RBC GAM to support and implement projects impacting the Institutional team
  • Work with our legal department, Institutional Portfolio Managers, and other teams within RBC GAM to compile and complete the required documentation for onboarding and maintaining client relationships

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada
  • 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work independently, and self-motivated attitude to meet key deliverables in high-pressure situations
  • Advanced skillset in the use of Microsoft 365 apps, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Given the cyclical nature of our business, a flexible work schedule is critical for this role as there are periods when overtime may be required (e.g., quarter-end)
  • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills, including sound judgment

Nice-to-have

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Team player attitude, ability to work effectively with staff at all levels, strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage projects, tasks, and deadlines
  • CSC or IFC
