Job Description:About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Officer to join our team based in London on a 6-month fixed term contract basis. We currently operate a hybrid working style blending office days with home working.The successful applicant will support the Insurance Manager in ensuring that Guinness has appropriate insurance arrangements in place.
To achieve this, you’ll process insurance claims whilst liaising with colleagues and customers to obtain information for the claims and keep them updated on the progress. You’ll also develop and maintain the administrative arrangements keeping the records and databases updated.What we’re looking for
We are a customer-focussed organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do.You will not only be an experienced Insurance Officer, but you will also have great customer service skills and a willingness to achieve the highest standards. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of:
- Providing administrative support in respect of insurance cover, particularly processing claims and receipts from insurers.
- Assisting with the development of, and maintaining, records and databases associated with insurance.
- Extracting information from databases and other records to support the use of trend and other data.
- Experience of providing insurance support within a medium or large organisation.
- Good oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised and methodical.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educated to A-level or equivalent.
- Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Institute of Insurance
