An exciting opportunity has become available for a registered nurse within the Colchester Essex Sexual Health Services.The successful applicant will plan, implement and deliver high quality individualised nursing care to the clients attending the Essex Sexual Health Services and will support senior nursing colleagues in the running of the department.The post will be full time (37.5 hours per week) working within the opening hours of ESHS. This will include some evenings and occasional weekend workFor informal enquiries please telephone Andie Aquino on (01206) 745375/74.Main duties of the jobYou will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your clinical expertise and innovative practice within the field of integrated sexual health care.Training opportunities are fully supported and will be provided with the expectation that you will be competent and confident in the provision of frontline clinical care, sexually transmitted infection results and data management, and specific targeted health interventions.You will be working within a specialist clinical team in a positive learning environment which will enable the development of skills to provide contraceptive intervention and protocol guided sexually transmitted and reproductive tract infection management.About usWe are ESNEFT and we provide hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex.
