Job Description:Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management (IM) Senior Advisor to join our global team.Team and Job PurposeThe purpose of the Child Protection Center Humanitarian Team is to respond effectively to humanitarian child protection needs, both within our organization and collaboratively at the interagency level, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in crisis situations.   • Facilitate the rollout of child protection case management data categorisation workshops and trainings, ensuring their effective delivery and alignment with organisational priorities, while fostering collaboration and inclusivity in coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Partner with interagency technical groups to lead the implementation of new data categorisations, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to the challenges faced in humanitarian responses.
  • Support the creation of analytical reports to enhance the understanding and strategic identification of child protection risks, contributing valuable insights to global discourses on child protection in crisis settings.
  • Collaborate with the Global CP AoR IM Specialist and UNHCR to tailor data visualisation tools, advancing the ethical interpretation and dissemination of non-sensitive data in line with global standards and local contexts.
  • Lead the integration of economic evaluation in humanitarian planning, working closely with case management coordination groups to drive cost-effectiveness analysis, facilitating transparent and accountable programmatic decisions.
  • Advocate for the continuous adaptation of information management tools and frameworks, ensuring they are reflective of and responsive to emerging inter-agency policies and the needs of diverse populations in humanitarian settings.

Experience and SkillsEssential1. Demonstrable technical expertise in managing the data and information cycle, including data collection, storage, analysis for diverse datasets, and presentation of information in visually appealing formats such as charts, graphs, and reports.2. Strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, peers, and communities, ensuring that diverse voices are heard and respected.3. Research skills and resourcefulness, enabling innovative solutions and fostering a culture of creativity within the organisation.4. A foundation of experience in child protection case management information management is essential for ensuring the safety and protection of the children we serve.5. Experience in high-quality humanitarian programmes and providing technical support demonstrates a commitment to excellence and accountability.6. Strong experience in capacity building and mentoring is necessary to develop the skills of team members and foster an environment of learning and personal development.7. A background in working independently and delivering results aligns with our values of ambition and accountability.Desirable8. Experience in child protection cluster coordination management would be an advantage, highlighting leadership and collaborative skills.Education and QualificationsEssential1. An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in information management, information systems, data science, statistics, or a related field is essential.
