Are you an experienced Fire Safety professional looking for a rewarding opportunity within a local authority?Enfield have a contract available with an immediate start, as a Fire Safety Surveyor you will:
·Provide expert fire safety advice to senior managers and housing teams.
·Conduct fire risk assessments for complex and non-complex residential buildings and places of assembly.
·Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to effectively manage fire safety risks.
·Influence key stakeholders to implement necessary fire safety actions based on risk assessments and reports.
·Work alongside the London Fire Brigade (LFB), conducting joint inspections and supporting community engagement initiatives.
·Deliver fire risk assessments for new-builds and acquisitions.What We’re Looking For:
·UK Resident
·Level 5 or higher qualification in Fire Safety or Fire Safety Engineering.
·Membership of a recognised fire or construction professional body (Graduate level or higher).
·Minimum 5 years of experience conducting fire risk assessments within the social housing sector.
·Strong understanding of building construction methods.
·Fire Door Inspector certification or Fire Stopping Inspection Diploma.
