Interim In House Residential Property Solicitor opportunity (potential for permanent appointment) I’m working with a highly regarded Housing Association who are looking to recruit a property lawyer into the team. Initially on an interim basis, for imminent start, there is the possibility for this to turn into a permanent appointment. THE ROLE You will manage a varied caseload of leasehold residential conveyancing matters including new development plot sales, resales, buy backs and shared ownership, enfranchisements, statutory/voluntary lease extensions. You will have your own caseload and dealing with conveyancing matters from inception to post completion which includes setting up own files and dealing with the administrative matters i.e carrying out searches, OS1 Searches, filling SDLT returns, exchange and completion letters etc ABOUT YOU You will need experience in dealing with a high volume and fast pace of conveyancing transactions such as Freehold & Leasehold Sales & Purchases, New Development Plot Sales, Shared Ownership Leases (particularly OPSO leases) Lease Extensions, Enfranchisements, Deed of Variations. There is additional Commercial Property work including creating and renewing business leases and Lease renewals, assignments and subletting. ADDITIONAL This is to work within a very likeable and high calibre team, which offers hybrid working, in a business which is a very rewarding place to work, a vast difference from working as a Residential Property lawyer in a law firm.
