I am delighted to be working with this large 11-18 secondary school in Surrey that is looking for additional Senior Leadership capacity at either Deputy Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher level. The role can be either 4 or 5 days a week.
This is very much a generalist and operational role which will require someone to roll up their sleeves to provide strong on the ground support such as de-escalating issues with pupils etc. while providing support to staff at a delicate time in the absence of their former headteacher. This is a non-teaching role.
Start Date: Immediate
Length of Assignment: Until the end of the academic year
Rate: Fixed term contract- pro rata salary L21 to L25 (Fringe) for Deputy Headteacher and L14 to L18 for Assistant Headteacher or competitive day rate inside IR35.

I am delighted to be working with this primary special needs school for pupils with SLD, PMLD and Complex Needs at it looks to add extra capacity to its senior leadership team.
The headteacher is looking for a highly capable senior leader who can come in at assistant headteacher level to give support around general HR issues including safeguarding, referrals, absences, ill health capability procedures etc. No teaching requirement.

You will be someone who can roll up their sleeves and provide on the ground support to the acting headteacher. You will be a calming presence for the general teaching staff.
