Position: Temporary Internal AuditorDuration: 2-3 Month ContractStart date: April 8thLocation: Fully RemoteCompany: Major Canadian BankKey Responsibilities:– Conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
– Identifying areas of improvement and providing recommendations for enhancing internal controls and operational efficiencies.
– Performing detailed testing procedures to evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
– Documenting audit findings and preparing clear, concise reports for management review.Requirements:– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Minimum 2 years’ of experience in internal auditing or related financial services roles.
– Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and internal control frameworks.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with audit software is preferred.
