Because we believe everyone deserves a fair, secure, and fulfilling retirement.About the roleWe are looking for an Internal Auditor who will be responsible for:Assisting the Senior Internal Auditor in planning, executing, and reporting on audits of general controls and change/project management processes.Gathering and analysing data to support the audit process.Documenting audit findings and recommendations.Supporting the Senior Internal Auditor in communicating audit results to management and other stakeholders.Assisting in the follow-up of audit recommendations to ensure their timely implementation.ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Senior Internal Auditor during the end to end delivery of audits to time and quality. This covers:Planning – identifying key risks and controls and designing an effective test programmeFieldwork – execution of the test programmeReporting – verbally and documenting the reporting of audit findings to key stakeholders and producing accurate and concise reportsFollow Up – Supporting the business in delivering all recommendations to the agreed quality and within the approved deadline.Supporting with the gathering and analysis of data to support the audit process to identify areas where risk is outside of the business risk appetite levels and make value adding recommendations to Management to address process and control weaknesses.Assisting on ascertaining the reliability of information systems, processes and controls assessed (input, processing and output) and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, accounting principles and established company policies and procedures.Delivering ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Senior Auditor or Senior Audit Manager to support the delivery of the core objectives of the function.Skills and KnowledgeAnalytical skills: Ability to gather and analyse data to support the audit process and identify areas where risk is outside of the business risk appetite levels.Audit generalist skills and Change/Project Management audit understanding.Communication skills: Ability to document audit findings and recommendations, and communicate audit results to management and other stakeholders.Organizational skills: Ability to assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, as well as the follow-up of audit recommendations.Compliance: Some knowledge of relevant regulations, accounting principles, and established company policies and procedures. 6Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the Senior Internal Auditor and other team members to support the delivery of the core objectives of the function.Company BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
