Work for a Central Government organisation as an Internal Communications Manager (FTC 6 months & fully remote)
As the Internal Communications Manager, you will help to deliver a highly effective Internal communications function for the organisation that informs staff of all key developments and activities, raising awareness engagement and commitment of staff to achieving the organisations goals.
What we look for
- Devise and develop a comprehensive internal communications strategy and plans for informing and engaging staff on all key the organisations activities that improves staff engagement with channels for information flows both out to staff and for gathering and collating feedback from staff.
- Working with Director of People, Culture and Programmes, you will provide internal engagement and communications expertise that supports our aspiration to become a high performing organisation.
- Identify opportunities to continually improve how we inform and engage colleagues in a way that motivates them, maximises their performance and helps deliver the organisations strategy most effectively.
- Provide communications support and advice to the colleagues as to what activities need to be shared and promulgated to staff and how best this can be achieved preparing detailed change communications plans and delivered for all workstreams.
- Put in place evaluation and monitoring processes to measure level of engagement internally in relation to the Aspire programme and regular reporting to programme manager/Programme board.
- Provide regular updates to the Executive Group on levels of staff concern and engagement as evidenced through internal communications activities.
