What you will enjoy doing

  • You will work 3 days in the Swindon office and 2 from home
  • Working as a liaison between Customer Service, Operations and Sales, you will give customers a world class experience by managing commercial aspects of their relationship with Linde AMT
  • As an introduction into professional sales and service, this role will be a great opportunity to start a career in sales, with a view to becoming an Account Manager within 2-4 years
  • You will act as a Telephone Account Manager for a portfolio of customers and you will have growth targets for price and volume
  • You will be involved in expediting negotiations, including general service and new business enquiries
  • You will provide support to Account Managers, for selected Key Customers, with sales activities such as quotations, customer presentations, sales analysis, and customer enquiries
  • Researching, analysing, disseminating, and maintaining market intelligence information from a variety of third-party data sources on prospect accounts will be a part of this role
  • There will be opportunities for you to support special projects as they arise; you will independently offer and create suggestions on sales team efficiency improvement opportunities

What makes you great

  • You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Communications, Technology, or related field would be advantageous
  • You will have good commercial acumen, with some sales experience
  • You are creative and innovative with work processes and are able to define this role’s functions autonomously
  • You have a high level of job independence and strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce
