Position Summary: The Campaigns and Engagement department encompasses our communications, digital and film marketing, impact and campaign operations teams. The Campaigns and Engagement team is seeking a summer intern to support film marketing, communications, digital, and impact on current titles such as Shirley, BLKNWS, Interior Chinatown, Out of My Mind, and more. This position will support the overall vision, mission, and mandates for the company.

Through its worldwide network of traditional and digital distribution, aligned with partnerships with key non-profit and NGO organizations, Participant speaks directly to the rise of today’s “conscious consumer,” representing the well over 2 billion consumers compelled to make meaningful content a priority focus. Participant’s more than 100 films have collectively earned 86 Academy Award® nominations and 21 wins, including Best Picture for Spotlight and Green Book; Best Documentary Feature for American Factory, CITIZENFOUR, The Cove and An Inconvenient Truth; and Best Foreign Language Film for Roma and A Fantastic Woman.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking and research for the film marketing, digital, and impact teams to support our film campaigns, from inception to completion.
  • Support with monitoring social channels and other external communications or messaging around campaigns and larger related issues.
  • Assist with maintaining administrative records related to industry awards, press clips, social media and mentions, and campaign assets.
  • When applicable, support the team in providing community management support for Participant platforms (i.e., Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn)
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Specific interest in film and television marketing, and entertainment industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be well-organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Skilled in efficient and accurate research.
  • Social media fluency is a plus.
