Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As part of a dynamic team at Phillips Hager & North Investment Services, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Investment Advisors who deal with mass affluent and high net worth clients. You will deal with client related issues including research, liaising with clients over the phone, by email and occasionally in person, as well as dealing closely with other departments to follow up on transfers, application forms and other necessary documentation. For more information re: PH&N, please visit: .What will you do?Preparing, sending and tracking investment policy statementsInvolved in asset mix analysis, and rebalancing the portfolio ( with Manager’s approval ) where requiredEnsuring compliance and regulatory adherence of client portfolios and tradesResearching and updating client files in the contact management systemYour presence will also be required at meetings where you will be compiling notes, and following up on outstanding issues with the Investment AdvisorsYour organizational skills will come into play as you assist the Investment Advisors in preparation for Client MeetingsYou will be running reports and assisting to decipher any discrepancies that appear on Investor StatementsIn your key role as Administrative Support, you will also create estate packages, compile manager review schedules and book appointments, and assist with mail outs as requiredWhat do you need to succeed?Must HaveCompletion of either Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
