Job SummaryJob DescriptionSupporting 2-3 top producing Financial Planners, Investment and Retirement Planning in meeting sales objectives and related activities by providing value added administrative service and support. Provides primarily responsive client contact management through telephone, fax and e-mail requests. Develops relationships with service partners to ensure operational guidelines are adhered to and transactions are processed efficiently. Manages office routines to ensure efficiency is maintained through availability and effective management of files and records. Gathering and preparing material required for presentations, meetings, marketing initiatives, etc.The work environment is your home office with flexibility to go to the branch if needed by the Financial Planners, Investment and Retirement Planning.Key Accountabilities:Consistently provides superior responsive service to client fax/e-mail/telephone requestsConsistently provides superior responsive execution and delivery of client transactions/requestsFamiliar with key referral sources, has strong organizational awareness and strong knowledge of mortgage and investment processes which facilitate solutions and problem resolutionDemonstrated personal commitment to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-dateKnowledge/Experience:To support the position of a mobile Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning you should be sales-oriented, self-motivated, self-managed and thrive in a fast paced environmentStrong skills in problem solving and sense of urgency are key in this position, as well as customer service, listening and understanding, achievement/motivation, teamwork and co-operation, initiative and pro-activityExcellent communication skills, oral/written skills, good business writingResourceful and able to work independently is requiredYou must be able to consistently provide superior responsive service to client requests in order to build customer loyalty and trustYou must be extremely well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.You are an energetic and enthusiastic team player who pays attention to detailStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Marketing CentralStrong knowledge of the mortgage process and Home Financing products is an assetCredit experienceKnowledge of Royal Bank systems including Sales & Service Platform and RBCNet would be an assetWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
