Sustainability is at the core of what we do, and for the role of Sustainability Manager, we are looking for an experienced candidate who can demonstrate a track record in sustainability reporting and implementation. As part of the Corporate Finance team, this role will work closely with multiple business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Mainstream is compliant with reporting and regulatory standards, including CSRD requirements
  • Support Mainstream’s sustainability strategy and objectives, including preparation of related Board materials
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international sustainability regulations
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives, including the integration of SBTi goals
  • Support Corporate Finance Team functions in areas such as existing corporate debt, mezzanine debt and trade finance / bond facilities
  • Assist in the preparation of Board reporting and other internal papers / presentations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, with strong project management skills

Qualifications and Role Requirements:

Ideally you will have good experience in sustainability, particularly in implementation, monitoring, communication and reporting.

You will also be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Excellent knowledge of global environmental standards and frameworks, e.g. the Paris Agreement, Sustainable Development Goals and Science Based Targets initiative
  • Good technical knowledge across environmental, social, governance topics including but not limited to climate, human rights, biodiversity, social responsibility, and water use
  • Experience in engaging with and responding to stakeholders including but not limited to: employees, Board, NGOs, ESG investors, communities, and government
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting requirements including at least one of CSRD, SECR,, and TCFD
  • Familiarity of corporate finance or investment banking preferrable.
  • Project management, team leadership and people management skills essential.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
