Position description

Key job responsibilities
• Act as a primary point of escalation for ISAAC analysts on shift.
• Lead ISAAC’s response to incidents in case of a crisis, guiding and documenting ISAAC’s actions and alert management or other customers as needed.
• Brief customers and senior leadership on breaking events and issues.
• Onboard and train new analysts.
• Monitor open sources for threats and craft timely alerts.
• Provide edits and quality control for the on-shift team.
• Provide 24/7 support if needed.
• Work with the ISAAC manager to create and maintain team operating procedures.
• Assist with research for white papers and strategic projects.
• Various other administrative duties including providing team metrics, tracking on-going projects, and creating search parameters.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (business, international relations, or security-related preferred).
• Experience with open source research, social media monitoring, online investigation and alert writing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or experience working in a managerial position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years’ experience working in an operation center, crisis management, travel security, or other fast paced environment requiring rapid decision making and analysis.
• Proficiency in multiple languages.
• Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision.
