It’s always a GOOD day in SoCal!The Information Technology Technician provides onsite and remote technical support to Goodwill’s computer systems, network and voice infrastructure. This position requires 1-2 years of technical troubleshooting, IT support, delivery and help desk experience. This role is located at LA Campus and required to travel to local Goodwill locations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Supports, tests and repairs desktops, laptops and POS registers including monitors, keyboards, printers, software applications and all other computer related accessories.

• Supports, tests and repairs telephone systems and telephone lines.
• Supports, tests and repairs the Company’s data and voice infrasturture.
• Assists in answering and logging IT Help Desk phone calls in a tact and polite manner meeting the needs of the caller.
• Monitors IT Help Desk work order tracking system and resolves assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicates to IT Management about problematic equipment or locations.
• Assists in on-call night and weekend support rotation.
• Position requires local travel to Goodwill SoCal locations.

Education & Experience

• 1-2 years of technical troubleshooting experience required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail. Experience with TrackIT preferred.
• Valid CA driver’s license with stated required insurance required. Driving record must be acceptable by company’s insurance vendor.
• Background, drug screen, MVR and employment verification required.
