DSL offers an appealing and challenging educational programme from Kindergarten to Abitur with a specific emphasis on German language and culture.PositionThe IT Technician supports the day-to-day operation of the school’s IT services, providing frontline technical support to staff and students. The role focuses on maintaining hardware and software, assisting with user support, troubleshooting issues, and helping to ensure the school’s IT systems run smoothly.Help administer the school’s computerised systems supporting the IT Manager/IT Systems AdministratorSupport and maintain the Level 1, 2 HelpdeskTroubleshoot end user desktop hardware & software problemsSetup and maintain new desktop hardware and machinesHelp maintain the school’s iPad fleet through Jamf MDM (Mobile Device Management System)Carry out IT related projects as assigned in a diverse environmentSetup and maintain user accounts in active directory, Office365, ParentPayRequirementsFamiliarity with requirements in an educational settingFamiliarity with cloud servicesExperience with integration of Apple products (i.e. iPads)German speaker would be advantageous, but not a necessityFamiliarity with requirements in an educational settingFamiliarity with cloud servicesExperience with integration of Apple products (i.e. iPads)German speaker would be advantageous, but not a necessityOther informationWe offer· Good salary· Extended holiday pay· Excellent pension scheme· Extended sick pay· Beautiful working environment· ‘Cycle to work’ scheme
