Job description
Berry Heathrow is looking for an IT Trainee.The roleAs an IT Trainee, you will assist the IT department with daily operations, including system support, troubleshooting, software installation, and asset management. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to grow their skills in a professional setting. You will work closely with experienced IT professionals and have the opportunity to learn and contribute to a variety of IT projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new software and hardware.
- Monitor system performance and assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure.
- Help with the setup and maintenance of internal networks, servers, and security systems.
- Assist with data backup and recovery procedures.
- Document IT processes, incidents, and solutions to enhance the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the IT team to test and deploy new technologies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving IT operations.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices.
Your profile
- No Qualifications needed specific to IT, General GCSE, Math and English.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Previous projects related to IT (preferred but not required).
Expected salary
£25500 per year
