Journeyman Heavy Duty MechanicLocation: Regina or Saskatoon, SKOur client, one of the largest geotechnical construction companies in Canada, is seeking a Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with 2–3 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing foundation drills and related construction equipment. This is a union position with competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities to work on unique ground engineering projects across Western Canada.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment and trucksPerform maintenance, overhaul, and equipment commissioningTroubleshoot hydraulic, powertrain, and electro-mechanical systemsOperate and inspect equipment for repairsFollow safety procedures and participate in safety programsQualifications:Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certificationExperience with foundation drills or similar construction equipment preferredWillingness to travel and work outdoors in camp environmentsValid Class 5 driver’s licenseDrug & alcohol test and “Sure Hire” fit test requiredAdditional Info:Union benefits (health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)8–12 hour shifts, with overtime, nights, weekends, and rotation as neededSites across Western CanadaReady to put your skills to work on exciting, large-scale projects with a company that values safety, growth, and innovation?
