We are searching for people who are socially responsible and who will be committed to our social purpose of “Responsible Mobility for all”. .The Job:The Junior Accountant is responsible for contributing to a streamlined, complete and accurate month end close to deliver monthly operating financial results in a timely manner and in accordance with accounting policies and the company’s internal control framework. Additionally, the Junior Accountant is responsible for preparing complete, accurate and insightful supporting documentation to support financial reporting and audit requirements.What you will be doing:

  • Prepare monthly month end close general ledger entries, as required.
  • Prepare weekly & monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Update & Track weekly cash flow reporting.
  • Prepared monthly balance sheet accounts payable, accounts receivable and prepaid expense reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly shareholder loan reconciliation.
  • Participate in training for backup coverage of tasks and responsibilities when necessary.
  • Support the Finance Team during interim and annual audit.
  • Support the Finance Team in projects and other Finance work as required.

Required Skills:

  • Well organized and able to keep accurate and timely records.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing work environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of products.
  • Bilingual (English/French) oral and written is an asset.

Education:

  • Accounting diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in a CPA program is preferred.

Experience:

  • 1+ years in an accounting/finance environment or completion of an accounting diploma or degree.
