As an individual who is driven by excellence, you are eager to contribute to the success of one of Canada’s Best Managed companies.This role is based out of Dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday and Fridays are work from home. Reporting to the Finance Manager, Revenue and Bank Reconciliations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting monthly revenue reporting and bank reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with various departments and dental practices to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.In this role, you will
- Prepare monthly validation of Revenue for practices directly integrated to NetSuite as part of month-end close procedures.
- Perform daily MDM mapping of service providers to support Revenue reporting, liaise with practice managers and Talent team to obtain information required.
- Review and resolve incomplete bank deposits.
- Request and track pre-acquisition bank statements.
- Distribute and track Invisalign forms.
- Monitor and follow up on balances reported under pre-dentalcorp revenue.
- Perform daily, monthly, and annual bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Monitor and report on any outstanding or unresolved reconciling items.
- Assist in other month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support to internal and external auditors.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support strategic decision-making.
What we’re looking for
- College or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years experience in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition standards, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is desirable.
